TIM KENNELLY
Tim is a born and bred Perth boy and has made a big impact on Perth and Australian Baseball over the last 15 years. Coming from a big baseball family with 4 of the 5 brothers playing professional baseball and representing both Australia and the Perth Heat.
Tim began playing Tee-ball for East Fremantle T-ball club at a young age before making the leap into baseball at the Melville Braves Baseball Club around the age of 10. Baseball started to become more serious when he was selected in the WA state 16's side before being selected to train in the WAIS program under Don Kyle. This is where he started making good progress before being drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2003.

Tim's professional career started at the age of 17 when he spent 9 seasons in the US with the Phillies and Texas Rangers organizations making it up to AAA.Tim has also represented the Australian National team for the last 9 years including the 2013 and 2017 World Baseball Classics.
He has been a member of the Perth Heat since the age of 18 where he has gone on to win 6 National Championships. Tim was also awarded the 2012 Helms Award (MVP) of the Australian Baseball League and currently holds the record for the most hits by a Perth Heat member.
